Summary

After we got our hands on the Worx Hydroshot we decided that it NEEDED its own review. We have checked all aspects for our Worx Hydroshot Review to give you the best overview on if it will be right for you.

We also included it in our best cordless pressure washers guide because we loved it so much!

The best thing about this product is that its part of the Worx battery share system, meaning there’s a huge range of Worx products that can be used all on the same battery.

You can expect 10x more power than using your garden hose and around 30 minutes of run-time per each full battery. Now 30 minutes doesnt seem like a long time but you can get most jobs easily done within 30 minutes if you work smart.

You can buy the Worx batteries separately starting from as little as £30 so its not to difficult to stack a few up for longer jobs.

Worx hydroshot Review

Why we love the Worx Hydroshot

The Worx Hydroshot is easy to use and fits into the palm of your hand very comfortably.

It’s perfect for everyday cleaning as it avoids the need to get all the wires and cables out and is perfect for cleaning your car, watering your plants, or hosing down garden furniture.

The unit is capable of up to 320PSI so great for all the above things but not great if you want to clean your patio or driveway.

We also love that this product comes with loads of accessories including Nozzles and a Washing Brush.

Why we don’t love the Worx Hydroshot

What we didn’t like about the Worx Hydroshot is that on the battery that’s included, you are looking at around a 30 minute run time.

Despite this, you can fully charge the battery within an hour. The battery is 20v max so don’t buy anything higher than that. So having three batteries means you can use the Worx Hydroshot for as long as you want assuming you charge the dead battery upon swapping for a charged one.

We also thought that despite the unit being cordless, this only solves one problem which is electricity. You will still need a hose plugged on so its not truly cordless and if you have an outside plug socket, a more powerful and just as affordable electric pressure washer will be a better option.

Best uses for the Worx Hydroshot

This portable power cleaner, the Worx Hydroshot 20V pressure washer, is best used for low pressure jobs.

The Worx 20v, although high power when compared to a garden hose, doesn’t offer the same power and a petrol pressure washer which are also cordless.

This makes it better for cleaning cars, washing down garden furniture, or cleaning windows. You can also pull from a water source rather than using a garden hose making it great if you need to use the pressure washer in remote areas or in the woods for example.

Who are Worx and what else do they offer?

Worx are great innovators in battery-powered power tools and aren’t just pressure washer specific. As well as the Worx Hydroshot 20v they offer garden tools, power tools, and even a robotic lawnmower.

You could kit your whole house out with Worx products and some of the more funky things such as the portable vacuum cleaner would come in handy for cleaning the inside of the car once the outside is complete.
