The Karcher K2 is one of Karcher’s lower priced units but what it lacks in cost, it makes up for in overall performance. The 110 Bar unit produces a steady 360 litres per hour waterflow making every job super easy to complete.

The Unit comes with a 6-meter hose but can be extended with a 10-meter extension hose if the 6 meters isn’t long enough. The 5-meter cable gives you a decent reach and Karcher offer a range of accessories to help with other jobs such as cleaning the gutters.

WHAT’S THE WATERFLOW AND PRESSURE BEST FOR CLEANING?

The Karcher K2 pressure is better tailored for cleaning cars, fences, and decking. Although the unit comes inclusive of a patio cleaner, the pressure this unit produces, although suitable, will make doing the job rather inefficient, and a higher-powered electric pressure washer will make patios and driveways much easier.

how to use detergent with Karcher k2 pressure washer

Using detergent in the Karcher K2 is fairly easy. They have a built-in detergent suction hose, which you feed into your detergent bottle and it sucks in the detergent. 

Once you are finished soaping up simply remove the tube and go back to using water.

If you are looking for a pressure washer for patios, driveways or multiple cars then the K4 might be better suited to your needs. The K4 includes 20 extra BAR so cleaning harder to clean surfaces like a patio or driveway will be slightly easier. 

Also, the unit have a higher water flow rate. This means that the 30m2 per hour that the K4 cleans makes fast work of even the largest jobs.

 The K2 is better if you are struggling for storage space though as the K4 is around 1/3^rd bigger in size meaning you could store the K2 on a shelf but the K4 might need some floor space.

With pressure washers using water, there is always going to be the potential for electrical problems to occur. Karcher have put a hand video on Youtube to help diagnose any electrical problems that might arise on your Karcher K2.

Karcher k2 wont turn on –

If you Karcher K2 stopped working, it can be down to a number of reasons. It could be an electrical fault within the machine itself. The motor could have an issue or it’s just not getting enough power.

 If you have checked your unit and can’t find any faults, it may be down to the extension cord you are using or the power outlet you are using to power the machine.

 Karcher K2 leaking –

In my experience, pressure washers and especially electric pressure washers are prone to a little bit of water leakage.

 This can be an issue depending on where the water is leaking from.

 Most of the time the water will leak from the area where the water source is connected to the unit, this is usually caused because of an old hose connector or wear in the hose pipe.

If you have water leaking from the pump or any other part of the washer, then you might have a more serious problem that will need to look at immediately.
