Bosch Advanced Aquatak 140 Review

Bosch’s Advanced Aquatak 140 high pressure washer is an amazing part of Bosch’s home appliance selection. If you’re looking for the next complement for your home and garden cleaning needs, this pressure washer offers a solution for both. This pressure washer follows on from the previous Bosch Aquatak 135 and 125 versions and has a one-up version, the 150.

Specification wise, The Bosch Aquatak 140 has considered nearly everything. Although much heavier than its predecessor (the 135) weighing 17.6kg its still easy to manoeuvre around the home and lift into the car or van if needing to transport.

It has a water flow rate of 450 LPH and a BAR pressure rate of 140 its only falls short of the more expensive 150 version by 10 BAR and 30 LPH so well worth the investment. This is also a great WF and BAR for a reasonably prices electric pressure washer.

Included with the unit is a variable jet nozzle (which you don’t get with the 150) a rotary nozzle and high pressure one.

The unit has a built in hose reel making it super easy to unreel and pack away once you are finished with it and the other accessories can also be stored onboard.

The all-terrain non-flat wheels make it perfect to use on any type of ground regardless of how sharp of uneven it is this is particularly handy if you live on a farm where the terrain can change multiple times in a short distance.

You can use this pressure washer with a detergent bottle attachment to easily snow foam whatever you are cleaning and if needed you can also pull from standing water, allowing you to use this pressure washer even if the most remote of places (power required).

What situations is the Bosch Advanced Aquatak 140 best for?

The best use for the Advanced Aquatak is for driveway and patio cleaning. Having a great pressure level and water flow to make short work and give a great finish for any form of concrete cleaning. Saying this, cleaning your patio or driveway with an electric pressure washer can be back breaking work and could take you all day, using a https://www.pressurewashersreview.co.uk/best-petrol-pressure-washers/ might be better fit if you are looking for a pressure washer to clean your driveway or patio.

This also means that it’s great for cleaning cars, vans, bikes, fences and garden furniture. The vario nozzle makes it easy to switch between jobs.

What we love

What we love about the Aquatak 140 is how simple it is to use. There is no assembly requires just plug and play. It’s really nicely laid out and the design, although sounds silly, will not look out of place in your garden.

Second to that, we think that for what you get from this pressure washer its brilliant value for money. The stats on this electric pressure washer rival those seen from petrol pressure washers without the need for an engine or petrol.

What we don’t

Were the price of the Bosch Aquatak 140 being a upside it can also be seen as a negative. You can find much cheaper pressure washers under £100 if you are looking to save money but these pressure washers won’t compete in terms of power and water flow.

Other products that might be better

If you didn’t want to spend the amount of money that the 140 costs you can consider the Bosch Universal Aquatak 125. Although it offers a much lower BAR pressure
And water flow rate it is effectively the same unit.

If you really wanted to go all out and get a top of the range unit then check out the Karcher K7 which can be controlled via Bluetooth!
